Updates to the April, 2007 Meeting Book As of June 20th, 2007. Pg. 14 - Forest Hills now has a New Open Meeting on the Last Monday of the Month. Pg. 14 - Forest Hills Lambda is now a Beginners (Big Book) Meeting - Monday 7:15 P.M. Pg. 18 - Maspeth. New Group. Nadzieja (means "Hope") Group. Entire Meeting is Polish speaking. Holy Cross Church - 61-21 56th Road (Basement) Meets on Mondays: Closed Discussion - 8:30 P.M. Also, starting July, Closed Discussion Sundays at 4:30 P.M. Pg. 20 - Queens Village. Our Primary Purpose is gone. SEE August 23rd below. As of July 2nd., 2007. Pg. 14 - Flushing. New Group. Men On The Move (Mens Group). Dutch Reformed Church - 167th. Street & 35th. Avenue, (upstairs - 2nd Floor Library). Closed Meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. As of August 23rd., 2007. Pg. 13 - Flushing Unity. The correct address is 149-49, as indicated in the Meeting Book, not 19, as we had on the Web. This was brought to our attention via their announcement of their Fourth Step Workshop (see Web link for information and flyer). Pg. 24 - St. Albans. Our Primary Purpose is now Meeting in St. Albans. They have moved to: Grace United Methodist Church 200-08 Murdock Avenue (at 200th. St.) with a Closed Meeting on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. As of September 12th., 2007. Pg. 9 - Astoria has eliminated the Big Book Meeting on Monday and the Beginners on Friday. Both of these Meetings had been at 7:30 P.M. See October 26th below Pg. 11 - Bayside Hills no longer has an 8:30 Closed Meeting on Monday. The Closed Meeting is now at 7:15 P.M on the 2nd., 4th. and 5th. Mondays. This becomes a Beginners Meeting on the 1st. and 3rd. Mondays. Pg. 15 - Forest Hills. Women Living In The Solution now meets at 7:15 P.M. (Tuesdays), this is 15 minutes earlier. As of October 26th., 2007. Pg. 9 - Astoria has eliminated the Closed Meeting on Monday and the Open on Friday. Both of these Meetings had been at 7:30 P.M. This is a correction to the September 12th. information. Pg. 9 - Astoria. All Broadway-Steinway Meetings now start 1/2 hour earlier, at 6:30 and 8:00 P.M. (see November 15th. below). Pg. 10 - Astoria. Not A Minute Too Soon no longer has a Women's Big Book Meeting. Pg. 10 - Astoria. We Stopped In Time no longer meets. Pg. 10 - Bayside. The A Closed Meeting Group no longer meets. Pg. 10 - Bayside. Singleness Of Purpose has moved to St. Luke's Church, 16-34 Clintonville Street, Whitestone (Zip 11357). They still Meet on Friday although one hour earlier - Open at 7:30 P.M. and Closed Discussion at 9:00 P.M. As of November 15th., 2007. Fort Tilden see November 20th. below. Pg. 9 - Astoria. All Broadway-Steinway Meetings will start 1/2 hour earlier, at 6:30 and 8:00 P.M. This change takes effect January 2008 and is a update to the October 26th. information. Pg. 11 - Bayside Serenity no longer offers signing for the hearing impaired (see "support" below). Pg. 22 - The Fort Tilden Feelings Group has moved to the St. Genevieve Parish House 6 Beach 178th. Street (behind the church), Roxbury, N.Y., 11697 The Closed Meeting is still on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. and is still handicapped accessible. Pg. 22 - Fort Tilden Groups, see November 20th. below. As of November 20th., 2007. Pg. 13 - Flushing. The Auburndale Group's Wednesday Open Discussion Meeting has been changed to a Big Book Meeting and now starts at 8:15 P.M. Pg. 22 - The Meetings at Fort Tilden have been permitted to stay where they are (for now). Watch this page as they are subject to change without notice. As of December 19th., 2007. Pg. 9 - Astoria. The Astoria Workshop Step Meeting on Mondays covers Steps 1,2 & 3. Wednesdays Steps 4-12 are covered. Pg. 13 - Flushing. St. Mel's does not Meet on Friday. Monday's Meeting, listed as a "Step", is a Step Meeting on the 2nd. Monday. The 1st. Monday it is a "Traditions" Meeting and becomes a Big Book Meeting on the 3rd. and 4th. Mondays. Pg. 25 - Sunnyside. The Forty Sixth Street Group only has one Meeting on Monday, at 8:00 P.M., with Anniversaries on the last Monday. They no longer have a 6:30 Meeting. The "Traditions" Meeting is now on the last Wednesday at 6:30. The 8:00 P.M. Meeting on Wednesday alternates between a Closed and a Step Meeting. As of December 31st., 2007. Pg. 21 - Richmond Hill. Remember When. Their Meeting (Thursday) is at 7:00 P.M. (not 7:15). Pg. 26 - Woodside. The Tuesday Meeting is at 8:00 P.M. (not 8:30). As of January 6th., 2008. Pg. 14 - Flushing. Utopia has added a Closed Women's Meeting on Sunday at 7:00 P.M. As of January 19th., 2008. Pg. 16 - Jamaica (North). A New Beginning has a new Beginners on Thursday at 7:00 P.M. This is the same time as was the "Easy Does It At The Heights" Group which no longer Meets. Pg. 21 - Richmond Hill. Remember When has only type of Meeting on Thursdays - a Beginners. As of January 25th., 2008. Pg. 12 - Elmhurst. Elm Heights has moved the Tuesday Beginners Meeting to the same time (7:00 P.M.) on Wednesdays. Also their Anniversaries are on the last Friday. As of February 10th., 2008. Pg. 20 - Rego Park. Serenity At Lefrak has an Open Discussion Meeting on Monday at 6:00 P.M. This Meeting is presently listed in the Meeting Book as a Big Book Meeting. Also they have asked that their Group be listed under "Corona" which more accurately reflects the location of Lefrak City (not "Rego Park", as we have them listed now), and they have asked for your Support..‡ Pg. 25 - Springfield Gardens. Serenity In Hollis has moved to the Town Hall Civic Center, 172-15 140th Avenue, Springfield Gardens, 11434. They still have an Open Discussion on Sunday though 2 hours later at 5:00 P.M. instead of 3:00 P.M. As of February 26th., 2008. Pg. 20 - South Ozone Park. Effective March 19th. A new Women's Group, "Women Of Courage", will start Meeting on Wednesday, at 6:30 P.M. They will be Meeting at The United Methodist Church Of Richmond Hill, 112-14 107th Avenue, which you may know as the location of the South Ozone Park Group. This will normally be a Closed Meeting that becomes a Step Meeting on the 2nd. Wednesday; a Big Book on the 3rd. and a Traditions Meeting on the 4th. Remember:this starts on March 19th. Pg. 24 - St. Albans. Unity At Seven is a Closed Men's Meeting. (Fridays at 7:00 P.M. at the St. Albans Veteran's Hospital) As of March 8th. 2008 Pg. 17 - Kew Gardens. Sobriety in Briarwood no longer meets. Pg. 18 - Little Neck/Douglaston. Douglaston Fresh Start has added a Big Book meeting on Sunday at 7:15 P M. Pg. 22 - Rockaway's. - Fort Tilden Feelings has returned to Fort Tilden at the new location (see next entry). Pg. 22 - All Fort Tilden (The Rockaway's) Groups now Meet at what is know as: "T-25 Building", Gateway National Park, Fort Tilden, 11697 Pg. 25 - Whitestone. Pg. 17 - Long Island City.  Queensbridge Meetings now start at 8 :00 P.M.              This applies to both Tuesday & Thursday Meetings. Pg. 19 - Ozone Park. Queens Gratitude has re-aligned their Meetings as follows: First Saturday is a Step Meeting; Second - Beginners; Third - Open; and a Traditions Meeting on the Fourth Saturday Pg. 20 - Rego Park.  The Lighthouse Group will now have their Traditions Meeting on the               Last Wednesday of the Month, rather than the Fourth. Pg. 21 - Richmond Hill.  Van Wyck - Kew Gardens has re-aligned their Meetings as follows:               First Tuesday is a Beginners Meeting;  Second - Step;  Third - Traditions and the               Fourth is an Open Discussion. Pg. 26 - Woodhaven.  Pathway To Freedom no longer meets. As of April 5th. 2008 Pg. 13 - Flushing. The Auburndale Group has added a new Step Meeting on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. As of April 10th. 2008 Pg. 15 - Hollis. Coffee Pot Beginners no longer meets. As of April 16th., 2008 Pg. 11 - Bayside Hills The Thursday night 8:30 P.M. Open Meeting has been changed to a Closed Meeting (Topic: Youth in Sobriety). The last Thursday of each Month it will remain as an Open meeting. Pg. 15 - Forest Hills Liberty (II). The Tuesday 7:00 P.M. Closed Meeting becomes a Step Meeting on the First Tuesday of the Month, also the Beginners starts 5 minutes earlier - at 8:10 P.M. Pg. 20 - Queens Village & Pg. 24 - St. Albans. Our Primary Purpose no longer meets. As of April 20th., 2008 Pg. 11 - Bayside Serenity will alternate between a Step and Traditions on the Last Sunday. Pg. 12 - Elmhurst. The Elmhurst Group has moved to the Italian Charities Building 83-20 Queens Boulevard, (at Van Loon Street). The Meetings remain the same. Pg. 22 - Rockaway's. Arverne-Edgemere Workshop no longer meets. As of May 12th., 2008 Pg. 19 - Ozone Park.  The One Way Group no longer has an Open Discussion Meeting.               They have also asked for your support. Please note: This is the last of the changes to your 2007 Meeting book. The new Meeting book has the revised listing for this Group. The 2008 (green cover) Meeting books are now available and will be distributed at the June Exchange & Group Reps. Meetings.
